BH Cosmetics Missy Lynn Baked Eyeshadow & Highlighters Palette

Hey guys!

Here is a super quick review of the BH Cosmetics Missy Lynn Palette . Please watch the video below for my first impression.  Please see below swatches on my hand, I absolutely love the highlighters and purples in this palette. This is a great palette for everyday, and if you are in need of a new palette click the link above.

Sale Price: $11.95 (original price $18.95)

Below is a brief breakdown of each color after I've had the chance to play them I can finally give a full review. Starting from left to right.

Eyeshadows:

Top Row
Cream Shadow (color#1): This color appears white like on my hand. On my actual brow bone it appears true to color cream.
 Finish: Matte/Frost

Copper Shadow (color#2): This color appears true to color on my hand and on my lid. This is a gorgeous copper metallic like color and will compliment all eye colors and skin tones. One of my favorites. Creamy and I was able to blend well.
Finish: Metallic

Brown Shadow (color#3): This color isn't very noticeable on my hand, and looks more of a grey based brown, however on my lid this is a standard brown. This brown has a few shimmer flakes but appears more matte. This one was a little difficult to blend.
Finish: Matte

Second Row

Used colors: 1,5,4 and 6.
Brown/Red Shadow (color #4): This color is a brick red color that reminds me a bit of Makeup Geeks, shadow in coco bear. While these two colors are different, color #4 is an alternative (but not dupe) for coco bear. I have used this color for a transition color and will work well for all skin tones. This color was easy to blend.
Finish: Matte

Purple shadow (color#5): This shadow is your standard purple and it looks great with brown eyes (yes, I am bias). Blends well.
Finish: Frost Metallic

Darker Purple with Blue undertone (color#6): This color is a great color for a smokey eye and alternative to black. Blends well.
Finish: I can't quite decide. Its not fully matte but isn't highly shimmery.

Third Row

Rose Gold highlight: AMAAAAAZING. Unleash the angels. This highlight along with the golden highlight are everything. This color will compliment those who like a pink/peach base highlighter.

Golden highlight: Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hal-lelu-jah! Love love love this color. It will look great on all skin tones and is amazing all year round. With spring and summer coming up this will give even the fairest of skin tones some pigment! This highlight alone was worth the entire palette and then some.

Final thoughts: My favorite colors are (2,5,6 and both highlighters). All in all I would re-purchase this palette alone just for the two highlighters! Let me know your thoughts below.
