Fall/Winter Nail Polishes 2014

The Autumnal Equinox of 2014 officially starts at 9:29PM ET September 22,2014! That is a fancy way of saying fall is finally here. In the spirit of the changing of the season, I want to share with you all my staple nail colors.  (Left: Visions of Love (by OPI), Middle: 830- Cinnamon (by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure) Right: Inkwell (by Sinful Colors)

Inkwell by Sinful Colors to the left is very vampy and not for the faint hearted. This color is close to black, however is not. This color is true to bottle color and truly looks like ink.  Cost: 1.99USD

 Sally Hansen Complete  Salon Manicure 830 color named Cinnamon to the Right is a dark chocolate maroon color, (no where near a cinnamon). This is a color for someone middle of the road. If you want to try a dark color but don't want to go black this is your color.  I purchased this color on sale at Target for around $2.00USD.

I saved my favorite for last OPI Visions of love (Mariah Carey Collection) . I have deemed oxblood as my fall power color, and this nail polish embodies that color! I love this color and I will get great color out of this color in fall and winter! I purchase this color on sale at Ulta (last year I believe) for about $4.99USD

**All colors have typical lasting power of 2-3 days. I would highly suggest a top coat. I like Jeft Set by Julie G. The application (which can be seen in the video) of all colors have a nice shine with or without a top coat***

Now that fall is here, who says we have to follow the traditional rules. While I love the vampy and traditional darker colors of fall, I will still rock mint green and hot pink or whatever else I feel like wearing. Fashion & Style have no rules! Until next time xoxo B
