I laugh. (smh) I clearly do not have a natural curl (without the assistance of a gel). However, a curl control, I could get with, as well as the term pudding/custard. I love a creamy custard/puddling like product as my hair just laps it up. Now that I have been honest with myself , I decided these two products would work well in the battle as both claim to control and define
Ingredients Battle:

Claims WINNER: Eco Custard. Based on the package wording, ECO custard sold me the most.
Cost
Eco Custard : $3.99-$4.99/8oz (varies store to store)Beautiful Textures Curl Control: $6.99/15floz
Cost WINNER: Eco Custard by volume, if you can purchase for 3.99. Purchase two for the same price as BT Curl Control and you will receive one oz more.
Fragrance/Smell
Eco Custard: FruityBT Curl Pudding :Fruity
Fragrance/Smell WINNER: TIE. Both have a light fruit, pleasant fragrance.
Final Thoughts: While the ECO custard won in a couple of categories, the overall results were similar thus it was a TIE. Initially the BT Curl Control had more shine and sheen however that did not last more than a day. The next day the sheen went away and felt a little dry. The ECO custard, didn't feel dry the next day however I feel it would be winner of this battle if paired with another product OR hair oil. I will continue to use the samples (as each was more than enough), but I don't think I will purchase full sizes of either.
